Box Score COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Seniors Liz Brown (Marcus Whitman/Rushville, N.Y.) and Liz Masten (Williamsport/Williamsport, N.Y.) led the William Smith College basketball team (2-0) to a pair of victories in the Colorado College/Radisson Thanksgiving Classic on Nov. 26-27, and were both named to the All-Classic Team for their outstanding efforts.

Brown seized a career-high 12 steals, the third highest single-game total in school history, in the Herons' season-opening 75-62 win over Coe College on Nov. 26. She added 11 points, 5 assists, and 5 steals in William Smith's 78-48 victory over Haverford College on Nov. 27.

Brown currently ranks second on the school's career steals list with 264, and needs just 22 points to become the ninth William Smith player to reach the 1,000-point mark. Brown is also No. 7 on the Herons' all-time assists list with 268.

Masten scored 16 of her game-high 18 points in the first half of William Smith's downing of Coe. She added 10 points in the Herons' 30-point decision against Haverford. Masten now has 628 career points and is No. 6 on the Herons' career field goal percentage list (.484).

The Herons look to capture their third straight win when they travel to Franklin & Marshall College on Tues., Nov. 30, at 6 p.m.
