GENEVA, N.Y. -- Sophomore Jackie Hall (Berkshire School/Newport, R.I.) and first-year player Sheila McKevitt (Northfield-Mt. Hermon/Clinton, N.Y.) scored two goals apiece to lead the William Smith field hockey team to a 7-0 win over visiting SUNY-Brockport. The Herons are No. 11 in this week's STX/NFHCA Division III National Coaches Poll.

Junior Sage Lansing (Lake Forest/Lake Forest, Ill.), senior Ami Ford (Whitney Point/Whitney Point, N.Y.), and first-year player Erin Weir (Blair Academy/West Califon, N.J.) all had one goal for the victors.

Junior Lauren von Bereghy (University Lake School/Hartland, Wis.) and sophomore Nicole Livingston (Whitney Point/Whitney Point, N.Y.) each added one assist for the Herons. Sophomore goalies Marjorie MacVean (Johnstown High/Johnstown, N.Y.) and Ilana Gordon (Andover/Andover, Mass.) combined for the shutout.

On Friday, William Smith takes on host Skidmore at 4 p.m.
