GENEVA, N.Y.—The Hobart College tennis team improved to 6-4 overall with a 7-0 victory over visiting RIT this afternoon in Bristol Fieldhouse. The Statesmen are now 4-3 in the spring season after going 3-2 during their spring break trip to Hilton Head, S.C.

Sophomore Peter Piné (Princeton/Princeton, N.J.) improved his team-best singles record to 14-3 with a 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 win over sophomore David Chachu in the first position.

The Statesmen hit the courts again on March 28, when they host UCAA rival St. Lawrence at 4 p.m.
