ITHACA, N.Y.—The Hobart soccer team dropped a difficult 1-0 decision to Ithaca this afternoon.

The Bombers netted the game-winner with 19 seconds remaining to improve their overall record to 7-3-0, while the Statesmen fall to 5-8-1.

Hobart controlled the offensive action, outshooting Ithaca 18-8.

Statesmen first-year goalkeeper Pete Van Dellon (Webster Thomas/Webster, N.Y.) turned away a pair of Ithaca offerings in the loss.

Hobart will return to action on Oct 15 as they host Nazareth College at 1 p.m.
