POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.--The William Smith tennis team lost 5-2 to Skidmore in the quarterfinals of the Liberty League Tournament this afternoon at Vassar College.

First-year Chelsea Rauck (Columbus School for Girls/Bexley, Ohio) picked up the lone singles win for the Herons at No. 1, while sophomores Katie Campbell (Winchester/Winchester, Mass.) and Cory Turner (Canterbury School/Ridgefield, Conn.) earned a point at No. 2 doubles.

Due to the rainy weather that has settled over the Northeast, the tournament has been moved in doors. William Smith (3-5) will play Rensselaer at 9 p.m. this evening in a consolation semifinal.
