CANTON, N.Y.—The Hobart squash team registered two decisive victories on the opening day of the Liberty League Championships at Robie Squash Center this afternoon. The Statesmen defeated Rochester 9-0 and Vassar 8-1.

Junior Prateek Patni (Daly College/Indore, India), first-year Cale Forgues (Ridley College/Kemptville, Ontario), junior Brian Shiver (Delbarton School/Morristown, N.J.), junior Andrew McDonough (Summit/Summit, N.J.), junior Andrew Conrad (Millbrook School/Haverford, Pa.), sophomore Ned Lanphier (Choate Rosemary Hall/Ross, Calif.), first-year Peter Hansen (Woodberry Forest School/Middleburg, Va.), and sophomore Graham Gardiner (Woodberry Forest School/Locust Valley, N.Y.) were double winners for Hobart.

The Statesmen return to action on Nov. 20 when they face Hamilton at noon.
