Box Score GENESEO, N.Y.--Sophomore Johanna Murphy (Amity/Woodbridge, Conn.) scored her first collegiate goal with less than two minutes remaining in regulation to lift the William Smith soccer team to a 1-0 victory at Geneseo State. The Herons outshot the Knights (0-1) 12-6.

In goal, junior Nikki Dudley (Chittenango/Chittenango, N.Y.) posted her second shutout of the season, making just a single save.

The Herons (2-0) are back in action at 11 a.m., on Sept. 10, when they host the annual Heron Cup. William Smith and Gettysburg will tangle in the opener, followed by Union College and Elmira at 2 p.m.
