Box Score HERSHEY, Pa.—Hobart College junior forward Conor Bradley (West Hartford, Conn.) netted the game-winning goal midway through the third period as the Statesmen outlasted Lebanon Valley 4-2 this afternoon in ECAC West action at the Hersheypark Arena. With the victory, Hobart tied the program’s single-season wins record (15), which was originally set by the 1978 squad.

The eighth-ranked Statesmen (15-5-0, 6-4-0 ECAC West) opened the scoring at the 6:02 mark of the first period, when senior forward Will Bodine (North Massapequa, N.Y.) drilled home his second tally of the season off a feed from first-year defenseman Ryan Alder (Piscataway, N.J.).

In the second stanza, the Dutchmen (5-15-0, 0-10-0) found their scoring touch as the hosts registered a pair of goals to take a 2-1 lead at the 6:22 mark. Hobart junior forward Mike McCarthy (Medfield, Mass.) answered Lebanon Valley’s two-goal run with his eighth goal of the season to tie the contest at 2, heading into the final period.

The Statesmen’s leading scorer, Bradley, broke the tie with his team-leading 16th goal of the season at the 9:18 mark of the final period. Hobart added an insurance goal at the 19:01 mark, when Adler recorded his first collegiate goal on the power play.

Between the pipes, sophomore goaltender Dimitri Papaevagelou (Windham, N.H.) turned aside 21 Dutchmen offerings to earn his third victory of the season, while sophomore netminder Craig Vardy made 36 saves.

The Statesmen outshot the Dutchmen 40-23.

Hobart returns to action at 7:00 p.m. on Feb. 10, when the Statesmen host conference rival Utica (10-6-3, 5-2-2) at The Cooler.
