Box Score SCHENECTADY, N.Y.—Senior Tripp Pietrak (Amherst, NY) netted three goals as he led the 21st-ranked Union College men’s soccer team to a 4-0 victory over fifth-ranked Hobart at College Park Field this afternoon. The Statesmen dropped to 5-1-0 overall and 0-1-0 in the Liberty League, while the Dutchmen improved their undefeated record to 6-0-0 overall and 1-0-0 in the league.

Hobart out shot its host 14-12, and held an 8-2 advantage on corner kick opportunities, but could not capitalize.

Junior goalkeeper Pete Van Dellon (Webster Thomas/Webster, N.Y.) recorded four saves for the Statesmen in the loss.

Hobart will be back in action tomorrow, Sept. 22, when it travels to Skidmore for a Liberty League contest at 2 p.m.
