Jamie Tucciarone (Clinton/Clinton, N.Y.) opened the scoring just 3:25 into the match. Landahl and Hamilton followed with scores before the contest was 11 minutes old. William Smith (2-0) carried the three-goal lead into halftime.

Janelle Walkley (Tioga/Tioga Center, N.Y.). Walkley's score came on a penalty stroke.

The Herons are back in action on Sept. 15-16, when they host the annual Heron Invitational. William Smith will take on Oberlin in the opener on Saturday at 11 a.m.
