Hobart College will host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament this weekend, Nov. 15-16, on Cozzens Field. Along with the Statesmen, Cabrini, Cortland State, and Misericordia will all compete in the first round.

On Saturday, Hobart will play Cabrini at 11 a.m., followed by Misericordia taking on Cortland State at 1:30 p.m. The winners will meet in the second round on Sunday at 1 p.m. All three games will have live stats available online, and any matches the Statesmen play in will be broadcast by WHWS-FM (105.7). General admission is $6, $3 for senior citizens and students with a valid ID, and $2 for children ages 3-12. Children under 2 are free.

Hobart is ranked fourth in the nation, and holds a 16-0-3 overall record. Led by Liberty League Player of the Year, senior forward Dan Riso (Red Hook, N.Y.), the Statesmen have outscored their opponents 38-12 so far this season. Guided by all-conference first-teamer, senior goalie Pete Van Dellon (Webster Thomas/Webster, N.Y.), the defense has recorded nine shutouts and a league-low 0.61 goals against average.
