Box Score PITTSFORD, N.Y.—The fifth-ranked William Smith College soccer team defeated Keuka 2-0 this afternoon to advance to the second round of the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament. The Herons improve to 14-1-4 overall, while the Storm ends their season with a 10-6-3 record.

Katelyn Tyson (Leland/San Jose, Calif.), who headed it in for the tally.
Less than four minutes later, at 62:40, first-year midfielder
Sarah Tarantino (East Aurora/East Aurora, N.Y.) scored unassisted to give the Herons a 2-0 advantage. The goal marked her third of the season.

Amanda Davis (Roxbury/Succasunna, N.J.) picked up one save to improve to 8-0-4 in net. Heron sophomore
Alex Chase (Bosque School/Albuquerque, N.M.) also made one stop in relief, while Storm goalie Ashley Vail collected eight saves.
William Smith outshot Keuka 21-2, and held a 12-0 advantage in corner kicks.
The Herons will take on Endicott in the second round of the NCAA Tournament tomorrow, Nov. 16, at Nazareth at 1 p.m.
