GENESEO, N.Y.—The William Smith tennis team improved to 8-5 on the season with a 7-2 victory over Geneseo this afternoon. The loss drops the Blue Knights to 13-2.
In doubles play, junior
Chelsea Rauck and sophomore
Shari Damon won for the sixth consecutive time, improving their season mark to 8-3 with a hard-fought 9-8 win at No. 1 over Kristen Greiner and Erika Pumple. The Heron tandem of senior

In singles action, five of the six matches went three sets with William Smith prevailing in four of the five. Rauck, Damon, Cain and first-year

Gaby Berkman raised her team-leading singles mark to 12-2 win a straight set win at No. 5.
The Herons are back in action on April 19, when they travel to Cortland for a 1 p.m. match.
