SCHENECTADY, N.Y.—The William Smith tennis team defeated Union 7-2 this afternoon. The win improves the Herons record to 6-3, while the Dutchwomen fall to 2-6.

At third singles, Heron Shari Damon evened her singles mark at 7-7 with an exciting 5-7, 6-3, 14-12 win over Kathleen Rucci. Gaby Berkman and Chelsea Rauck both won in straight sets for William Smith to raise their singles marks to 6-1 and 9-1 respectively.

The Herons are back in action on Sun., April 6, at 11 a.m., when they visit Skidmore.
