GENEVA, N.Y.—The sixth-ranked Hobart College soccer team will kickoff its Liberty League schedule Fri., Sept. 26, on Cozzens Field. The Statesmen encourage the campus and Geneva communities to come “Fill the Hill” as they take on Clarkson at 4 p.m. The first 500 fans will receive a free t-shirt.
Hobart enters the weekend with a 7-0-0 overall mark, after notching two more victories last week at St. John Fisher (2-1) and at then 24th-ranked Rochester (3-0). Two Statesmen earned Liberty League praise for their efforts in those matches. First-year forward

Matt Geswell (Carmel/Patterson, N.Y.) earned Co-Defensive Performer after assisting on all three Hobart goals against the Yellowjackets.
Senior Statesmen
Dan Riso (Red Hook/Red Hook, N.Y.) and
Pete Van Dellon (Webster Thomas/Webster, N.Y.) currently lead the Liberty League in offensive and defensive categories, respectively. Riso, a forward, boasts a league-high five goals and three game-winners, while goalkeeper Van Dellon owns a league-best 0.43 goals against average and four shutouts.
Clarkson comes to Geneva with a 5-2-1 overall record and riding a five-game unbeaten streak. The Statesmen will also host league-rival St. Lawrence on Sat., Sept. 27, at 2 p.m. Both matches will be broadcast live on
