Box Score ROCHESTER, N.Y.--The 12th-ranked William Smith field hockey team got a pair of goals from junior Kaitlyn Hamilton (Harpursville/Harpursville, N.Y.) to defeat Nazareth 2-0.

In the 15th minute, Hamilton netted her first goal, set up by senior Katie Mancuso (Harpursville/Port Crane, N.Y.), on the game's first penalty corner. She connected again in the 32nd minute, scoring on a lift shot.

Senior goalie Katie DeKraker (Staples/Westport, Conn.) made the lead stand up, registering three saves in her first shutout of the season.

William Smith (2-0) is back in action on Sept. 13, when the Herons host Oswego at 2 p.m.
