Box Score ROCHESTER, N.Y.--A late flurry of goals lifted the 17th-ranked William Smith soccer team to a 4-2 victory over Allegheny in the first round of the Nazareth Tournament. Sophomore
Brelynn Nasypany (Herkimer/Herkimer, N.Y.) finished the match with a team-high five points.
In the fifth minute, Nasypany scored on the Herons' first shot of the match. The Gators were able to equalize 35 seconds before halftime.
In the second half, Nasypany again found the back of the net in a short amount of time, knocking home her third goal of the year less than seven minutes in. In the 58th minute, Allegheny (0-2-1) again pulled even. The match remained tied until the 76th minute.

The Herons are back in action on Sept. 7, when they take on #19 Denison in the second round of the tournament. The match is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
