Box Score ROCHESTER, N.Y.--The 19th-ranked Denison defeated No. 17 William Smith in the Nazareth Tournament today. The Big Red improves to 3-0-0, while the Herons slip to 2-1-0.

Denison looked to Kim Oshita for both goals. Julie Dean set up her first tally in the 38th minute, while Sarah Ash assisted on the insurance goal in the 75th minute.

William Smith sophomore goalie Alex Chase (Bosque School/Albuquerque, N.M.) matched her career-high with seven saves, while the Big Red's Courtney Cobb made five stops.

The Herons will be back in action on Sept. 13, when they host Ithaca in the first round of the Heron Cup. The matched is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
