The ninth-ranked Hobart College hockey team will travel to Utica for two ECAC West contests this weekend, Jan. 30-31. The Statesmen are 14-4-0 overall and 5-3-0 in the conference, while the Pioneers hold a 9-6-2 overall mark and a 3-4-0 conference record.
Faceoff for both games is set for 7 p.m. Both games can be seen live at

live stats available online. Additionally, Saturday's game will have radio coverage courtesy of
WIBX.
Hobart is currently enjoying a five-game winning streak, its longest of the season, after dispatching Lebanon Valley 8-1 and 8-4 in two games last weekend. Earlier this winter the Statesmen defeated the Pioneers 3-2 in The Cooler, thanks to goals from sophomore
Matt Wallace (Skaneateles, N.Y.) and juniors
Nick DeCroo (Sarver, Pa.) and
Blake Bonham (Toronto, Ontario).
DeCroo and Pioneer Tim Coffman share the lead in the ECAC West with 14 goals each, while Hobart senior goalie
Keith Longo (Milford, Mass.) (.920) and Utica goaltenders Justin Bolla (.907) and Anthony Luckow (.890) rank second, third, and sixth, respectively, in save percentage.
The Statesmen hold a 9-7-3 series advantage vs. the Pioneers, but Utica owns a decisive 5-1-2 record at home. The last time Hobart won at Utica was back in the 2001-02 season.
