The Hobart College soccer team is ranked 20th in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll. The Statesmen dropped three spots after defeating Ithaca 3-0 on Oct. 14 and falling to Oneonta 2-1 on Saturday. Hobart also ranks 21st in the latest D3soccer.com poll.
First-year midfielder
Alex Kittelberger paced the Statesmen offense last week with two goals. He scored Hobart's third goal against the Bombers and the lone tally vs. the Red Dragons, for his fourth and fifth goals of the year, respectively. He was tabbed the Liberty League's Rookie of the Week for his performance. Kittelberger currently shares the team lead in goals with classmate and fellow midfielder
Will Abbott. They both rank fifth in the Liberty League in goals.
Abbott also leads the team and ranks sixth in the conference with 13 points, while sophomore
Tommy Hayes ranks second on the team and 10th in the league in points (11). Hayes tallied his fourth goal of the season in the victory over Ithaca.
Sophomore goalie

The Statesmen (10-2-2, 3-1-0 Liberty League) will travel to Skidmore (5-7-0, 1-3-0 LL) for a conference match at 3 p.m.
