Box Score SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The 20th-ranked Hobart College soccer team lost at Skidmore 1-0 this afternoon, in a Liberty League match on a rain-soaked Wachenheim Field. The Statesmen slip to 10-3-2 on the season and 3-2-0 in the conference, while the Thoroughbreds improve to 6-7-0 overall and 2-3-0 in the Liberty League.
The Statesmen held a 12-7 advantage in total shots, including 6-1 in the second half, and owned a 7-0 edge in corner kicks.
Skidmore's one shot in the second half came in the final minute of regulation, as Ernie Economides set up Aaron Krepack for the only goal of the game with just 27 seconds on the clock.

Matt Geswell had the best scoring opportunity for the Statesmen on a penalty kick in the 73rd minute, but Skidmore goalie Nick Peterson came up with a big save.

Charlie Hale collected three saves, while Peterson finished with six.
Hobart will be back in action tomorrow, Oct. 25, when the Statesmen travel to Union for another Liberty League match at 1 p.m.
