Brad Richard were named the ECAC West's Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively, after leading the Statesmen hockey team to two league victories over the weekend. Hobart came from behind to post a 6-4 win over Utica on Friday, and never trailed in a 4-2 win over then 11th-ranked Manhattanville on Saturday.
A forward, Wallace tallied three goals on the weekend. He scored the first and last goals at Utica, and tallied Hobart's second goal vs. the Valiants. Two of Wallace's three scores were power-play tallies, improving his total to an ECAC West-high six power-play goals. He also leads the team and ranks third in the ECAC West in goals (9), and is second on the team and sixth in the league in points (14).
Richard, a defenseman, recorded four assists. He set up the Statesmen's first goal vs. the Pioneers, and assisted on three of Hobart's four goals, including the game-winner, against the Valiants. Richard shares the team lead and ranks third in the league with nine assists. He also ranks second in the ECAC West in defenseman scoring with 10 points.

Nick Broadwater earned a spot on the ECAC West's Weekly Honor Roll. He collected 45 saves on the weekend, posting an .882 save percentage and a 3.00 goals against average in 120 minutes of action. Broadwater picked up 13 stops vs. Utica, and registered 32 at Manhattanville. He currently leads the ECAC West in save percentage (.916) and ranks third in goals against average (2.49).
The Statesmen (5-5-2) will wrap the first half of the season on Dec. 12, when they travel to No. 1 Oswego (10-1-0) for a non-league contest at 7 p.m. Fans unable to make it to the game can listen live on
