Box Score RYE, N.Y.—Sixth-ranked Hobart College and 10th-ranked Manhattanville played to a 1-1 overtime draw in an ECAC West Men's Hockey contest tonight at the Playland Ice Casino. The Statesmen pick up their first tie of the season and move to 18-5-1 overall and 9-4-1 in the conference, while the Valiants stand at 16-3-4 on the season and 8-3-3 in the ECAC West.
Manhattanville struck first, on a power play 13 minutes, 26 seconds into the game. Arlen Marshall recorded the tally, assisted by Niklas Berntsson and AJ Mikkelsen, to give the Valiants a 1-0 lead at the end of the first period.

Christopher Bower (Chevy Chase, Md.) netted the game-tying goal just 1:45 into the second stanza. His power-play score was set up by junior defenseman
Jordan Zitoun (Irving, Texas) and junior forward
Nick DeCroo (Sarver, Pa.).
Neither team could get past the opposition's goalie for the remaining 43-plus minutes of action. Senior Statesmen
Keith Longo (Milford, Mass.) collected 33 saves, including six in the overtime period, while Sergiy Sorokolat finished with 29 saves for the Valiants.
Manhattanville held a slight 34-30 advantage in shots.
The Statesmen and Valiants will battle it out again tomorrow, Feb. 21, at 3 p.m. The teams are currently tied for second in the ECAC West Standings.
