Box Score CLINTON, N.Y.—The Hamilton field hockey team stunned 15th-ranked William Smith this afternoon, sneaking past the Herons 4-3 in overtime. Mary Lancaster scored her second goal of the contest 3:50 into extra-time to secure the victory.

The Continentals stormed back in the second half with three goals in a span of seven minutes. In the 51st minute, Catie Torcivia got the home team on the scoreboard. Amy Allen made it a one-goal match in the 57th minute, and, 37 seconds later, Lancaster completed the comeback, setting the stage for her OT heroics.
Courtney DeMaria earned the win for Hamilton with 12 saves, while first-year
Taryn Little made 12 stops for William Smith.
The Continentals outshot William Smith 24-22, including 2-0 in overtime, and held a 20-16 edge in penalty corners. Hamilton improves to 3-1 overall, 1-0 in the Liberty League, while William Smith slips to 6-1, 0-1.
