Hobart College first-year 
Nick Broadwater was named the ECAC West Men's Hockey Goalie of the Week, after leading the Statesmen to two victories at conference rival Neumann over the weekend. This is the third time Broadwater has won the award. He has also been named the league's Rookie of the Week once this winter. 
Broadwater picked up 26 saves to record his first career shutout in a 1-0 win over the Knights on Friday. The next night, he stopped 38 shots in a 3-2 victory. For the weekend, Broadwater allowed just two goals, while posting a 1.00 goals against average and a .970 save percentage. Overall, he leads the ECAC West with a .926 save percentage and ranks second with a 2.35 goals against average. 
Additionally, senior 
Aleksey Koval was named to the ECAC West's Weekly Honor Roll. He notched a goal and an assist over the weekend, scoring the only goal of the game on Friday, and assisting on the game-winning tally on Saturday. 
Hobart, currently third in the ECAC West standings, owns a 9-8-2 overall record and a 5-3-1 conference mark. The Statesmen will host 13th-ranked Manhattanville (14-4-0, 6-2-0), currently second in the standings, on Jan. 30 at 7 p.m. The two teams have met twice already this season, with each team winning once. The Valiants won the first game 4-2 in Geneva on Oct. 31, and the Statesmen prevailed in Purchase on Dec. 5 by the same score. Fans unable to make it to The Cooler on Saturday can listen live on
