The Hobart College football team will face seventh-ranked Wesley College in the first round of the NCAA Division III Football Championship. The Statesmen and the Wolverines kick off at noon on Saturday, Nov. 19 at Scott D. Miller Stadium in Dover, Del.

Hobart (7-1) secured one of the 25 automatic bids into the 32-team field by winning the Liberty League Championship. The Statesmen are making their sixth NCAA Playoff appearance and first since 2008. Hobart is 4-5 all-time in NCAA play.

Wesley (9-1) received the lone Pool B bid, reserved for independent teams and teams from conferences that don't have an automatic bid. The Wolverines are making their eighth NCAA appearance and are 15-7 in championship play, reaching the national semifinals in 2005, 2006, and 2009.
