Wendy's College Classic | Tournament Bracket

The Hobart basketball team will square off with St. John Fisher at Nazareth in the first round of the Wendy's College Classic. The Statesmen journey to Pittsford, N.Y., for a 6 p.m. tipoff on Wednesday, Nov. 30.

Hobart enters the tournament with a 3-0 record, the program's best start to a season since the 2004-05 season. Senior Matt Pebole is averaging nearly a double-double per game, producing 14.3 ppg and 9.7 rpg. Junior Stefan Thompson is second on the team in scoring at 13.3 ppg, shooting a team best .625 from the floor.

Following an 82-81 overtime win at Brockport, St. John Fisher is 2-2. This will be the first meeting between the Statesmen and Cardinals since Dec. 1, 2009. Hobart won that game 90-83 in at Fisher.

The Statesmen are 27-47 all-time in the Wendy's Classic. Hobart is seeking its first Classic title, having finished second four times.
