The Red Dragons (2-1) pulled even early in the second half when Ashley Johnson converted a penalty stroke.
The Herons reclaimed the lead with back-to-back goals less than five minutes apart. Sophomore
Amy David netted the first in the 56th minute, followed by junior

William Smith needed the insurance as Megan Warning scored for Oneonta with just 82 seconds left in the match. The Red Dragons were unable to generate another shot in the waning seconds.
Junior
Taryn Little earned the win in goal with four saves, while Tess Tracy turned back eight shots for the home team.
The Herons nearly doubled up the Red Dragons in shot, 15-8, but Oneonta had an 8-7 edge in penalty corners.
