Box Score GENEVA, N.Y.—The No. 5 William Smith College soccer team topped visiting Union 1-0 in a Liberty League match played on Cozzens Field this afternoon. With their 10th straight win, the Herons improve to 10-1-0 and are 4-0-0 in conference play. Union falls to 6-4-0 and 4-2-0 in the Liberty League.

Brenna Kincaid scored the lone goal of the game. Senior goalie
Chelsea Dunay played all 90 minutes in goal for the Herons and made five saves to secure her sixth shutout this season.

Dineo Mmutla pushed a short pass to Kincaid, who then fired from about 35 yards out. Her shot went just into the top left corner of the goal. It was Kincaid's first goal this season.
The Herons came very close to scoring on a number of other occasions. William Smith held an 18-7 advantage in shots and a 4-1 lead in corners.

MacKenzie Smith. Smith was right out in front of the goal and put a shot on, that Union goalie, Allison Brustowicz dove to just get a hand on. Brustowicz played all 90 minutes in net and made 11 saves.
The Dutchwomen had their best scoring chance 9:33 into the second half. Breana Derella blasted a hard shot from the top of the box, but Dunay was there to make the save. Union earned a corner with six minutes left in the match, but the kick was immediately punched away by Dunay.
The Herons will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 18, when they host Rensselear for another Liberty League match at 4 p.m.
