Hobart basketball to host Youth Night

On Tuesday, Jan. 14, the Hobart College basketball team will host Youth Night when the Statesmen take on RIT in Bristol Gym. The Liberty League game is scheduled to tip off at 8 p.m. and will be preceded by the William Smith-RIT game at 6 p.m.
 
At halftime of the Hobart-RIT game, the Red Jacket third and fourth grade travel team will take the floor and play an exhibition game. The team is led by Head Coach Austin Reed.
 
Admission for all fans is free.
 
Hobart is 7-4 overall and 1-1 in Liberty League play. The Statesmen have not played at home since Nov. 22, 2013. The 53-day road trip saw Hobart post a 5-4 record.
 
Senior forward Richie Bonney is fourth in the conference in scoring (19.6 ppg) and first in rebounding (12.4 rpg). He has recorded a double-double in 10 of the team's 11 games this season.
 
The four-year starter has produced 1,363 points, 769 rebounds, 110 assists, 79 steals, and 57 blocked shots in 96 career games. Bonney is first on Hobart's all-time list in career field goal percentage (.581), fourth in rebounds, and ninth in points.
 
WHWS-FM (105.7) will broadcast the game. Fans can also follow the action online with All-Access Video and Live Stats.
