Hobart improves to 7-4-1 overall, while the Golden Flyers fall to 3-8-0. The Statesmen controlled the majority of the game, outshooting Nazareth 25-4, and holding the Golden Flyers to just the one shot on goal. Junior goalie
Tyler Serafine played the opening 45 minutes in goal for Hobart. Senior
Mike Lucas came in for the final 45 minutes.

Dosky opened the scoring with his first collegiate goal just 11:27 into the game. It came off a long lead pass from first-year
Joseph Escamilla. Junior
Jacob Fox made it 2-0 just under a minute later. This time Dosky earned an assist as his initial shot was saved, but the rebound bounced to Fox, who found the back of the net. In the 43rd minute, first-year
Adrian Colmenares gave the Statesmen a 3-0 advantage, scoring off a free kick awarded to Hobart just outside of the box. Colmenares and Fox share the team lead with four goals each this fall.

DJ Clark scored his third goal of the season off a pass from first-year
Zach Poretz in the 52nd minute to stretch the Statesmen lead to 4-0. In the 56th minute, Patrick Gefell put the Golden Flyers on the board with a shot from right in front off a short pass across the front of the goal from Sam Tiffany. Sophomore
Sean Barry notched his first goal of the season in the 74th minute. Gaeffke set up the play. Then Gaeffke produced a goal of his own with 15 seconds remaining. His shot from the top of the box was headed just under the crossbar, when the Nazareth goalie appeared to have saved it, but bobbled the ball at the last second and it fell over the goal line.

The Statesmen finished with a 3-0 lead in corners. Diego Abreu played the first half in goal for Nazareth and made five saves. Nate Ripic came in for the second half and also stopped five shots.

Hobart will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 11, when it hosts Union for a Liberty League contest on Cozzens Field at 2 p.m.
