Six members of the Hobart College soccer team earned a spot on the 2013 Liberty League All-Academic Team.
To be considered for all-academic honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average. The following Statesmen earned a spot on the squad:
- Mark Benya, Sr., Computer Science and English
- Mike Lucas, Jr., Economics and Public Policy Studies
- Oddmund Nesbakk, Jr., Sociology
- Chris Poggi, So., Biology
- Marco Ronning, So., Economics and International Relations
- Kyle Wiatrowski, So., Biochemistry
It's the second year in a row Benya, Lucas and Nesbakk have earned all-academic accolades.
The Statesmen finished the 2013 season with an 11-8-1 overall record, logging their eighth consecutive winning season.
