Wood's goal leads #14 Herons past Oneonta

Box Score The 14th ranked William Smith field hockey team shutout Oneonta State 1-0 in a non-conference contest this afternoon. First-year Hannah Wood scored the game-winner in the 45th minute for her fifth goal of the season.

Sophomore Alessandra Patrizio set up Wood's goal. Patrizio carried the ball down the left side of the field and fired a pass across the cage where Wood was able to redirect the ball into the back of the net.
