Box Score Hobart College senior Connor Rehbaum was named the Liberty League Men's Basketball Performer of the Week by the conference office today. He averaged 23.0 ppg and 5.3 rpg in a 2-1 week for the Statesmen.

In Tuesday's 83-73 win at RIT, Rehbaum scored a career-high 30 points on 10-of-19 shooting, 5-of-11 from behind the arc, and 5-for-5 at the free throw line. He also grabbed a game-high nine rebounds against the Tigers.  During Friday's 65-56 win over Vassar, he pumped in 27 points on 9-of-16 shooting, 6-of-10 from 3-point land, and 3-of-4 at the line with a team-high six rebounds. On Saturday against Bard, Rehbaum led Hobart with 12 points despite foul trouble that limited him to a season-low 17 minutes. For the week, he shot 52.3 percent from the floor, 52.2 percent from 3-point range, and 84.6 percent at the line.

Rehbaum has started all 14 games this season, averaging a team-high 15.6 ppg, a team-high 6.1 rpg, and 1.6 apg. He's shooting .427 from the floor, .374 from deep, and .750 from the line. Rehbaum has made a team-high 34 3-pointers, raising his career total to 150, fifth on Hobart's all-time list. He needs just 28 points to become the 27th Statesman to record 1,000 for his career.

Rehbaum ranks second in the Liberty League in 3-point percentage and 3-pointers per game (2.4), fourth in scoring average, and 14th in rebounding.

Hobart is 8-6 overall and 3-2 in the Liberty League. The Statesmen begin a four-game road trip at Rensselaer (5-11, 2-5) on Friday, Jan. 23. Tipoff at ECAV Arena is scheduled for 8 p.m.
