The Hobart College soccer team hosts two Liberty League contest this weekend on Cozzens Field. The Statesmen take on Vassar on Friday at 4 p.m., and then host Bard on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Friday will be the Statesmen's "Thrilla on the Hilla" game. The first 200 people at Cozzens Field will be given a free Hobart soccer t-shirt.
Hobart brings an 8-2-2 overall record and a 1-1-2 mark in the Liberty League into the weekend. The Statesmen, who are receiving votes in this week's NSCAA poll, rank 15th in the nation with a 0.47 goals against average and 23rd in shutout percentage (0.58).

Derrick Acheampong lead the team with seven points each, both on three goals and an assist. Junior
JP White has notched six points on three goals. Senior goalkeeper
Tyler Serafine has played the majority of minutes in goal. He's sporting a 0.48 goals against average and an .833 save percentage. Serfine ranks third in the league with six shutouts.
Vassar comes to Geneva with a 6-3-2 overall record and a 2-1-0 mark in the Liberty League. The Brewers are coming off a 1-0 loss to Skidmore last Saturday. Tom Wiechert leads the team with 15 points on six goals and three assists. Sebastien Lasseur has played the most minutes in goal and is sporting a 0.68 goals against average, an .852 save percentage and a 5-1-0 record. He has earned two shutouts.
Bard enters the weekend with a 5-6-1 overall record and a 0-4-0 conference mark. The Raptors play at RIT on Friday afternoon. Going into the weekend, Nick Shenberger leads the team with 28 points on 11 goals and six assists. Daniel Gagne has played the majority of minutes in goal and is sporting a 1.15 goals against average, a .750 save percentage and a 4-4-1 record. He has earned two shutouts.
