Hoops Against Hunger will take place during the Hobart and William Smith basketball games on both Friday night and Saturday afternoon. While admission is free to HWS basketball games, fans are asked to bring non-perishable food items or to make a monetary donation to the Center of Concern. Fans will also be able to purchase a Hobart Basketball wristband for $2 with all proceeds donated to the Geneva Center of Concern.

The Herons and Statesmen host Skidmore on Friday and Rensselaer on Saturday. William Smith will tip off at 6 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday. Hobart's tipoff times are 8 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively.

Also, as part of Hobart Basketball Alumni Weekend, the team will be honoring Richie Bonney '14, the recipient of the 2014 Jostens Trophy which is given to Division III's most outstanding player. An All-American on the court, Bonney was an all-star in the classroom as well. He earned a number of accolades for his scholarship, including Capital One Academic All-America Player of the Year for Division III Men's Basketball, ECAC Division III Male-Scholar Athlete of the Year, and Liberty League Male-Scholar Athlete of the Year.

In his four seasons at Hobart, Bonnie averaged 15.2 points per game, 8.3 rebounds per game, and shot 58 percent from the field and 34 percent from three point range. As a senior, he averaged 20.4 points per game and 11.0 rebounds per game, while shooting his career average 58 percent from the field.

Bonnie will be honored prior to the Skidmore game.

Before the start of the RPI game, Hobart will celebrate Senior Day, honoring its five members of the Class of 2015: Blanding, Andrew Hoy, Michael LaValle, Jake Rayburn, and Connor Rehbaum.

The Statesmen are 13-6 overall and tied for second place in the Liberty League with an 8-2 mark.
