Box Score The No. 3/6 Hobart College hockey team picked up its fourth straight victory with a 4-2 win over Curry in its first game of the 2016 Vineyard Classic in Oak Bluffs, Mass., tonight. The Statesmen improve to 11-2-2 overall.

Sean Rudy notched two goals and junior
Carl Belizario chipped in two assists for the Statesmen.
Hobart opened the scoring 8:05 into the game, when Rudy capitalized on a power play. Belizario and first-year
Trevor Poirier earned the assists. A little over a minute later, senior
Ben Gamache gave the Statesmen a 2-0 advantage after assists from Belizario and first-year
Tanner Shaw. It was Gamache's third goal this season.
Rudy struck again just 48 seconds into the second period, giving Hobart a 3-0 lead with his eighth goal of the year. At 2:09 into the middle period, Shane Tracy put the Colonels on the board.
Sophomore
Tyler Wolf added a shorthanded tally for the Statesmen making it 4-1 6:19 into the final period. Wolf has logged five goals this year. Tyler Vankleef chipped in a shorthanded goal for Curry 13:53 into the third for the final score.
Sophomore
Frank Oplinger finished with 21 saves in goal for the Statesmen. Brett Sinclair made 26 saves for the Colonels.
Hobart will be back in action tomorrow, Jan. 16, when it takes on Salve Regina in another non-league game in the Vineyard Classic at 5 p.m.
