Four members of the Hobart College cross country team earned a spot on the 2016 Liberty League All-Academic Team.
 
To be eligible for all-academic honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.3 through the end of the 2016 spring semester. 
 
The following student-athletes represented the Statesmen on this year's squad:
 

• Daniel Klementowski, political science major
• Frankie Newman, physics and dance major
• Josh Owens, geoscience major
• Jeremiah Piersante, meteorology and Spanish major

 
It's the second year in a row Klementowski and Owens have earned all-academic accolades.
 
The Statesmen posted their best finish of the year at the Cross Country Only Championships, finishing in third place. Hobart also earned an eighth place finish at the ECAC Championships this year.
