The No. 5 William Smith College soccer team will host two Liberty League games this weekend. The Herons take on Union on Friday, Oct. 13, at 4 p.m. and then face Rensselaer on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 2 p.m.

William Smith brings a 10-1-0 overall record and a 5-0-0 mark in the Liberty League into the weekend. The Herons rank 14th in the nation in goals against average (0.36) and win percentage (.909). William Smith is 22nd in Division III in shutout percentage (.636).

Union is 5-3-2 overall and 0-2-1 in conference play. The Dutchwomen are coming off a 1-1 draw with RPI last Saturday. Linsey Giles leads Union with nine points on four goals and an assist. Kelsey Hartsoe has played the most minutes in goal. She's sporting a 1.09 goals against average and a .882 save percentage.

Rensselear enters the weekend with a 6-3-2 overall record and a 3-0-1 mark in the Liberty League. The Engineers take on RIT in Rochester before coming to Geneva on Saturday. Bethany Hanson and Stephanie May have each registered a team-high five points on two goals and an assist. Joey Lyons has seen the majority of minutes in goal. She has a 0.83 goals against average and a .829 save percentage.
