The William Smith College soccer team remained No. 4 in the nation in this week's United Soccer Coaches Poll. The Herons also held steady at No. 4 in the D3soccer.com poll.
 
William Smith is 14-1-0 this season and 8-0-0 in the Liberty League. The Herons secured their 11th straight conference regular season title. William Smith is seventh in the nation in goals against average (0.27) and ninth in shutout percentage (.733) and win percentage (.933). The Herons have won 11 straight games and earned eight straight shutouts.
 
Senior Evie Manning leads William Smith with 11 goals and 27 points. Junior Megan Barwick has a team-high six assists and six goals for 18 points. Junior Veronica Romines ranks ninth in the nation with a 0.22 goals against average. She's sporting an .870 save percentage, a 14-1-0 record and seven shutouts.
 
William Smith will travel to take on St. Lawrence on Saturday, Oct. 28, for its final regular season game. Game time is set for 2 p.m. in Canton.
 
The Saints are 10-4-0 overall this season and 5-2-0 in conference play. St. Lawrence hosts Clarkson tonight before taking on the Herons this weekend. Kaleigh White and Hannah Merriam lead the team with 15 points each. White has five goals and five assists, while Merriam has six goals and three assists. Samantha Allen has played the most minutes in goal. She has registered a 0.92 goals against average and an .824 save percentage.
