The No. 5 William Smith College soccer team will host Clarkson University for a Liberty League match on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 3 p.m. In addition, the Herons welcome back soccer alumnae for their annual alumnae weekend.

William Smith brings a 9-1-0 overall record and a 4-0-0 mark in the Liberty League into the contest.
The Herons rank 15th in the nation in win percentage (.900) and 16th in goals against average (0.40). William Smith is riding a six-match win streak and has shut out its opponent in each of its last three games.

Megan Barwick has four goals and a team-high four assists for 12 points. Junior goalie
Veronica Romines has played the majority of minutes in goal. She ranks 13th in the nation with a 0.34 goals against average. Romines has an .800 save percentage four shutouts.

Clarkson brings a 6-2-3 overall record and a 2-0-1 Liberty League record to Geneva. The Golden Knights are unbeaten in their last five matches. Clarkson is coming off a 2-0 win over SUNY Canton on Tuesday. Camryn Careccia leads the team with 15 points on seven goals and an assist. Madison Kather has handed out a team-high three assists and added four goals for 11 points. Elyse Green has played every minute in goal. She's sporting a 0.94 goals against average and an .833 save percentage. Green has earned five shutouts this fall.
