The Hobart College hockey team will host two ECAC West games in The Cooler this weekend. On Friday night at 7 p.m., the No. 5 Statesmen will take on Manhattanville, and on Saturday, at 4 p.m., Hobart will host Neumann.

The Statesmen are 15-3-3 overall and 7-3-0 in conference play. Hobart, which has been ranked in every D3hockey.com and USCHO.com poll this season, is coming off its first loss since Nov. 18. The Statesmen will look to avenge an early season loss at Manhattanville (L, 5-3 on Nov. 11). Hobart topped Neumann 8-5 in Aston, Pa., back on Nov. 12. The Statesmen sit in third place in the ECAC West standings, two points behind the second place Valiants, with four conference games left to play.
At this weekend's games, the Statesmen will be hold 50/50 raffles with the proceeds going to Hockey Coaches Care, a non-profit organization committed to helping members of the amateur hockey community in times of need, as well as organizations within the amateur hockey community that seek to serve the best interests of its members. In addition, Hobart will be selling game worn jerseys to benefit the cause. Jerseys will be sold for $150 at both games this weekend. Nick Bingaman leads the Statesmen with 22 points on 15 goals and seven assists. He's second in the conference in goals and 12th in points. Classmate
Bobby Sokol is right behind him with 10 goals and eight assists for 18 points. Junior
Frank Oplinger has played the most games as of late in goal. He's sporting a 2.54 goals against average, a .923 save percentage and a 6-3-1 record.

The Valiants bring a 12-9-1 overall record and an 8-3-0 conference mark into The Cooler. Matt Lippa leads the team with 21 points with 12 goals and nine assists. Adam Platt is right behind him with 20 points on 11 goals and nine assists. Tyler Feaver has played the most minutes in goal. He's sporting a 2.96 goals against average, a .893 save percentage and a 10-7-1 record.

The Knights are 13-7-2 overall and 5-6-0 in the ECAC West going into the weekend. Neumann will play at Elmira on Friday night before coming to Geneva. Jory Mullin leads the way with 39 points on 22 goals and 17 assists. Anthony Pupplo and Matt Gibney have played the most minutes in goal. Pupplo is sporting a 1.84 goals against average, a .943 save percentage and an 8-1-1 record. Gibney has a 3.78 goals against average, a .881 save percentage and a 4-6-1 record.
