The No. 3 William Smith College soccer team will host No. 24 Misericordia for a non-league game on Cozzens Field on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at 4:30 p.m.

Veronica Romines has played the majority of minutes in goal. She's sporting a 0.43 goals against average, a .800 save percentage and a 4-1-0 record. Romines has two shutouts this fall.

The Cougars are unbeaten in their first seven matches of 2017, bringing a 5-0-2 record to Geneva. Amber Hartranft and Jackie Stevens lead the team with two goals each. Alex Gallagher has a team-high two assists. Alyssa Pojero has played every minute in goal. She's sporting a 0.40 goals against average and a .897 save percentage. Pojero has notched four shutouts.

Tuesday's meeting will be just the second ever between William Smith and Misericordia in soccer. The last time these teams met was in Dallas, Pa., on Sept. 1, 2011. The Herons earned a 1-0 victory.
