GENEVA, N.Y.—The seventh-ranked William Smith College soccer team will begin Liberty League play on Cozzens Field against Skidmore College at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Veronica Romines has started all six matches, posting a 5-1-0 record, a 0.50 goals against average, a .786 save percentage and a pair of shutouts.
William Smith is averaging 2.2 goals per game and allowing 0.5 goals per game.
Skidmore comes to Geneva with a 2-4-0 overall record, mired in a four-match losing streak. Most recently, the Thoroughbreds dropped a 1-0 decision on their home field against Hartwick.
Junior Emma Basso paces the team in goals and points with four and eight, respectively. Classmate Courtney Shaw leads the team with three assists.
Senior goalie Alyssa Rollins has played every minute so far this season and sports a 2-4-0 record, a 2.17 GAA and a .723 save percentage with one shutout.
Skidmore is averaging 1.2 goals per game and allowing 2.2 goals per game.
This will be the 33rd all-time meeting between the league rivals with William Smith holding a 26-1-5 advantage in the series.
