The Hobart College ice hockey team will be back in action on Saturday, Nov. 10, when it travels to Oswego for a non-conference contest. Faceoff at the Marano Campus Center Arena is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Statesmen held at No. 5 in the USCHO.com poll announced Monday afternoon and are ranked No. 11 in the D3hockey.com poll. The Lakers are ranked sixth in the USCHO.com poll and seventh in the D3hockey.com poll. This is Hobart's second straight game against a team ranked in the national polls. The Statesmen were edged by then No. 12 Norwich 3-1 last Saturday.

Hobart enters the weekend with a 3-1-0 overall record and a 1-1-0 mark in the New England Hockey Conference. Senior captain

Alexander Connal has played a majority of the minutes in goal for the Statesmen. He is 2-1-0 with a 3.03 goals against average and a .900 save percentage.

Oswego enters the weekend with a 1-0-0 overall record and a 1-0-0 mark in the SUNYAC. The Lakers will be at Canton on Friday night. Travis Broughman scored twice in Oswego's win over Cortland last weekend. He added an assist and leads the team with three points. Carter Allen has a team best two assists. David Richer played in goal for the Lakers. He got the win and stopped 16 of the 18 shots he faced for a .889 save percentage and a 2.00 GAA.

The game will be the 43rd all-time meeting in a series that dates back to 1982. Oswego owns a 34-6-2 record. Hobart won last year's contest 2-1 at The Cooler.
