GENEVA, N.Y.—The Liberty League leading Hobart College basketball team will host a faculty/staff appreciation day in conjunction with its game against Clarkson University at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3.
The Statesmen, who host St. Lawrence University at 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 2, have won 10 in a row heading into the weekend. Hobart is 16-3 overall, 11-1 in the league and enjoys a three-game lead over Ithaca and Union, which are tied for second in the conference standings.
Prior to tip off of the game against St. Lawrence, Hobart will honor juniors
Colin Dougherty and
Jamal Lucas, who both recorded their 1,000th career points last month.
At halftime of Saturday's game, the Hobart basketball team and Hobart Athletic Department will salute the efforts of the Hobart and William Smith Colleges' faculty and staff. Their tireless dedication and commitment to excellence give the Colleges' student an exceptional education, preparing them to lead lives of consequence.
Faculty and staff in attendance will receive a complimentary bag of popcorn.
