ROCHESTER, N.Y.-The Hobart College tennis team defeated Rochester Institute of Technology 9-0 in Liberty League play in Gordon Field House this afternoon. With their fifth straight victory, the Statesmen are now 10-5 on the season and 4-1 in conference play.

Alan Dubrovsky and junior
Jonah Salita, the reigning Liberty League doubles team of the week, opened the match with an 8-2 win in the top spot. Dubrovsky and Salita are now 16-6 on the season with a 10-5 record at No. 1. Junior
Jonathan Atwater and first-year
Walker Anderson bested Ben Lynaugh and Nick Lim 8-5 in the No. 2. Hobart completed the sweep of doubles play with an 8-4 win at No. 3. Juniors
Patrick Gray and
David Reinharz defeated Roger Peckham and Spencer Lowitt for their fourth win of the season.

Sophomore
Joe Mallon extended the Statesmen lead to 4-0 with a win at No. 4 singles. He defeated Mac Yang Li 6-0, 6-0. The win was Mallon's fourth of the season. Anderson clinched the overall victory at No. 3 singles. He defeated Spencer Lowitt 6-1, 6-2 at No. 3 singles. Anderson has won his last five matches and is 14-5 in singles play this year. Atwater collected his fifth straight victory, besting Ben Lynaugh, 6-2, 6-1 in the second spot. Atwater is 16-5 in singles with a 3-1 record in the second spot. Dubrovsky improved to 18-6 on the year with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 1 singles. He is a team-best 6-3 at No. 1. Junior
Patrick Gray and sophomore
Colin Molloy closed out the match with wins at Nos. 5 and 6, respectively. Gray improved to 2-1 on the season, edging Patrick Mathew 6-3, 4-6, 10-8. Molloy is now 4-1 on the year thanks to his 6-0, 6-1 victory over David Trimmer.

Hobart will be back in action this weekend, April 21-22, when it hosts Skidmore and Bard in Geneva, N.Y. The match with the Thoroughbreds is scheduled to begin on Saturday at 1 p.m. while the match with the Raptors is scheduled to get underway at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
