The Hobart College soccer team will wrap up its regular season on Saturday, Nov. 2, when it welcomes St. Lawrence to Cozzens Field. The Liberty League contest is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.

Hobart enters the final match day of the regular season with a 12-4-1 overall record and a 5-2-1 mark in Liberty League play. The Statesmen currently sit in second place in the Liberty League standings and have clinched a spot in the six-team tournament. Hobart can finish anywhere from second to fifth in the standings. The best case scenario is a win over St. Lawrence that would make the Statesmen the No. 2 seed.

Entering the weekend, Hobart leads the Liberty League and is seventh in the nation in save percentage (.872.) and is 11th in the nation in shutout percentage (.588). The Statesmen have nine shutouts this year, second most in the Liberty League.

Brian Salazar has played a majority of the minutes in goal. He is 12-4-1 overall with a 0.71 goals against average and a .867 save percentage. He leads the Liberty League and is 13th in the nation in save percentage.

Offensively, Hobart is led by senior midfielder
Nate Cary's 15 points on six goals and three assists. Juniors
Kyle Mangold and
Juan Widoycovich are right behind him with four goals each. Through 17 games, 12 different Statesmen have found the back of the net and 18 players have recorded at least a point.

St. Lawrence brings a 6-7-1 overall record and a 3-4-1 mark in conference play. The Saints are currently seventh in the conference standings, two points behind RIT, and need a win to avoid their first sub-.500 season since 1992. Marvin Sibanda leads the team with six goals, four assists and 16 points. Aidan Callahan (4g, 3a) and Robert Reynolds (5g, 1a) have 11 points each. Ben Woelfinger has played a majority of the minutes in goal for St. Lawrence. He is 4-7-1 with a 1.72 GAA and a .661 save percentage.
