ITHACA, N.Y.—The William Smith College tennis team concluded its 2018-19 season, falling to Vassar 6-0 at Cornell's Reis Tennis Center today. The Herons finish the season with a 14-7 overall record.

Dina Rigas fell to Frances Cornwall and Tara Edwards 8-2 in the top spot. Juniors
Kate Foley and
Allie Perron fell at No. 2 to Sarra Yekta and Melina Stavropoulos 8-2. Sophomores
Katelyn Nguyen and
Charlotte Engebrecht were edged by Morgane Flournoy and Ashley Fair 8-7 in the No. 3 spot.
Junior
Leland Barclay fell to Meghan Rodick 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5. Perron was defeated by Cornwall 6-0, 6-1 in the top spot. Foley was bested by Edwards 6-2, 6-1 in the No. 3 spot. Bonomo dropped the first set 6-2 and was behind 4-2 when the match was completed. Rigas dropped the first set 7-5 and was behind 3-0 in the No. 4 spot. Senior
Alex Greenberg dropped the first set 6-4 at No. 6 when the Brewers clinched the match.
Today was the final match for senior
Alex Greenberg. Greenberg completes her career with a 49-33 overall record in singles play and 34-22 overall record in doubles play.
