Four minutes later, Zoe Cook took a feed from fellow first-year Kaitlin Pellechia and buried a shot into the upper corner of the cage to tie the game 1-1. The Spartans tied the game with just over 15 minutes remaining in the first half on Madison Marcinak's fifth goal of the season. Two minutes later Fox gave York a 3-2 lead on a free position goal.
